Ekspert Trepleie As is a family business based in Nesodden and specialises in the tree care (Arboricultural) industry, providing services in Oslo and the local area.
Richard has been involved in the tree care industry for 20+ years. After completing various theoretic and practical qualifications from Capel Manor, London in 2002/2003, started working at an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor in South East London. Over the next few years, Richard increased his practical experience and completed a number of additional certificates in Arboriculture. After working for Greenwich Council, Richard decided to set up as a contract climber for various firms in the South East of England. Specialising in large tree pruning and removals. He also helped a number of these companies achieve Arb Association Approved Contractor Status. The Arb Association is the highest level of Accreditation for the industry in the UK.
Progression
During the time as a contract climber in the UK, he also travelled over to Norway to work on the Oslo Kommune parks and trees contract with a company based in Baerum.
Richard and family decided to make a full time move to Norway in 2017.
The last few years have been spent growing Ekspert Trepleie’s client base through a combination of Residential Clients, Commercial work and Contract Climbing, providing climbing services to other Tree companies.
